Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray, speaking at a rally in Mulund, stated his party would oppose the Dharavi redevelopment master plan unless all residents receive 500 sq ft homes and universal eligibility. He criticized the state’s approach, which currently favors only those who settled pre-2000. Aaditya also demanded Dharavi and BKC be granted the same status as GIFT City, stressing that Mumbai citizens deserve equitable development opportunities.
